Welcome to the 21 km race!
Our 21 km race is a short, yet unique route that provides a spectacular running experience in the Sataf area, Ein Handaq single track, Khurvat Seadim, Yad Kennedy and Battir terraces – some of the most beautiful places in the mountains of Jerusalem. The race starts in Sataf at dawn (don’t worry, we will take you there). From there you will be able to see Jerusalem and the green landscape of the Jerusalem mountains. Afterwards, we will go down the HaShomrot trail, through the Ein Handaq springs’ single track, up to Khurvat Seadim and through the single track up to Yad Kennedy, while you will be able to enjoy the mountain
view. Afterwards, we will go down through the white paths to Nahal Refaim.

Target audience – participants must be over the age of 16.
Categories 21 km men/women up to 39 and 80 km men/women from 40 and older.
All those who will finish the race, will receive a Finisher Medal.
Refreshment and inspection stations: along the way, there will be an inspection station, as well as a water station, in addition to the start and finish areas.
At each inspection station, there will be treats, refreshing drinks and a warm atmosphere.
At the inspection stations, the race marshals will supervise runners’ condition and will monitor the arrival and continuation of running.
Each runner must pass through all the stations along the race.
Replacement stations will be staffed according to the time that will be published in the race
portfolio to be sent to each runner personally via email.
Please follow the opening and closing times of the stations in order to continue the race.
Medical services and first aid
At the start/finish, a command post will be set up, while an MDA ambulance will provide treatment to runners crossing the finishing line
At each replacement station, there will be a first aid kit
Along the route, there will be 2 motorcycles with paramedics
Two stations along the route, which will be published in advance, will provide medical examination services for the runners passing through the station with an emphasis on the long racerunners.
Mandatory equipment will be checked before the entrance to the race venue is approved!
Morning race of 21 km in a route that includes 20% technical trails and 80% white trails. About 450 meters uphill and 500 meters downhill.
Several refreshment and inspection stations Along the way, there will be 2 refreshment/inspection stations, at which the runners will enjoy treats and water. Medical services will also be available.
Prior to starting the race, each participant will receive a kit that will include a chip that will accompany the runner throughout the route. At each refreshment/inspection station, the runner will have to pass the chip through the controller and tell its number to the station staff that will as fill out a table manually and via a computer system.
All the runners will start the race at 07:00 am

Shuttle will depart from the main spot at 06:30 am.
The difficulty level of the race is defined as moderate and therefore, it is suitable for experienced trail runners.
The rout is not closed for the runners. The race is based on JNF routes – running takes place on white trails and single tracks. The runners should be well prepared and check the race portfolio to be published later on. Along the route, there will be inspection stations with available personnel, a team of marshals will patrol the route and the production staff will also be there to provide assistance.
The route is marked in compliance with the highest international standard in order to prevent navigation errors!
